The epitome of Southern hospitality - The McMillan Inn offered warmth, charm, and phenomenal service. I cannot extend enough of a thank you to Chelsea, from the house tour upon entry, to helping with laundry before checkout. Melissa and Eric were also fantastic, helpful, and eager to offer recommendations. The breakfast every morning was superb, featuring very generous portions and local offerings. Our room was clean, spacious, and ornate, fitting in with the style of the parlor rooms and history of the area. We stayed in the Telfair Room (Deluxe Queen) on the lower level, which was great for coming and going throughout the day without disturbing the guests. The location could not have been more perfect - 20 minute uber from the airport, less than 5 minute walk to Jones St. and Forsyth, and a hop away from all the major local sights. We are so glad we opted for a bed & breakfast experience as opposed to a modern, sterile hotel for our stay. The pool, although small, was almost always empty and the perfect way to cool off after a hot walk around the city (and having refreshments and snacks in the kitchen area for easy access was so convenient!) We will absolutely be back!

We stayed at the McMillan Inn from the 13th to the 15th of August in the Lafayette room and all I can say is that we wouldn’t hesitate to book again at this place! The hosts were fantastic. The breakfast was out of this world. There is always a batch of fresh hot cookies or something like that for guests in the afternoon. Chelsea prepared us an early breakfast bag as we had a very flight back home, super nice of them. Thank you so much!

As Savannah locals, my husband and I wanted a special, private local retreat to prepare for our wedding and celebrate our first night as newlyweds. We spent the night before and the night of our wedding at the McMillan Inn, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The property itself is absolutely stunning, and the Madison Square room was breathtaking—the perfect, picturesque backdrop for getting ready on the big day. Phenomenal Hosts: The hosts are incredibly kind, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable about the area. Above-and-Beyond Service: We had some last-minute anxiety about the wedding weather. Without hesitation, the hosts stepped in to help us brainstorm backup plans, and they even made the phone calls and arrangements on our behalf just in case. Though we didn't end up needing the backup plans, their willingness to take that stress off our shoulders meant the world to us. Delicious, Safe Dining: The home-cooked breakfasts each morning were absolutely delicious. As someone with a gluten allergy, I am always a little nervous traveling, but they completely accommodated my dietary needs and made sure I was wonderfully well-fed. They were accommodating in every sense of the word. Whether you are traveling to Savannah from afar or you are a local looking for a hospitable, luxury retreat, we cannot recommend the McMillan Inn highly enough. Wow! What an amazing 4 day/3 night stay! The inn is stunning! We stayed in the Madison Square garden level room with pool view and patio over the 250 anniversary of American/4th of July holiday. The room is HUGE and a mix of modern blended with old. So pretty! The hosts Eric and Melissa felt like family 🙂 True southern hospitality! Met a lot of very nice couples, too 💕 Breakfasts were outstanding 10/10. We stay at B&Bs frequently and this is one of our favorites! We will be back 💯. Thank you Eric and Melissa for making our vacation so special!

Such a WONDERFUL place to stay! The room was clean and quiet and the location is perfect! Just off the main streets enough to be quiet, but still very convenient to walk everywhere. Close to Kroger if you need to get to the store and extremely safe. I can't say enough wonderful things about the owners, and all of the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. the breakfast every morning was incredible and the tea and treats available all day long was an added bonus. We'll definitely be back!
