My husband and I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Azalea Inn. The Sweet Olive room was very cozy and we enjoyed sitting on the patio over looking the pool. The service was unmatched from the time of check in to departure. We enjoyed the appetizers and dessert in the evening. The breakfast was fantastic, such a beautiful dining room with amazing peach cobbler pancakes. We walked to Forsyth park which was very beautiful. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We stayed for several days recently and had a nice experience. The property itself is lovely and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Excellent location - walking distance to just about everywhere you want to go in the city. Have the option of a paid parking lot next door or find street parking (which we did without issues). Breakfast is provided each day as well as light bites for the evening social hour and late night sweet treats — my husband very much enjoyed all the snacks. The only negative was the cleanliness of the linens. Our bedsheets had serious stains on them and every napkin I used was covered in set-in stains. While I’m sure they were laundered, the stains were a big turn off. As for the bath towels, we had to not use several that were left out for us due to the amount of dirt and debris on them. Very strange. My husband said he saw some staff folding the linens on a table outside that was covered in dirt and debris, so I’m sure that’s where it came from…but still not very hygienic. Overall, was a nice experience and enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The rooms were very clean, and we loved the quaint pool out back along with the private balconies. The pricing felt fair, and we appreciated the nice hors d’oeuvres and snacks offered during social hour. Our bed was very comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect. The only issue we experienced was with the staff. One newer employee, who had only been there a couple of weeks, was extremely friendly and welcoming. However, the other two staff members had a noticeably different demeanor, and one interaction felt quite rude, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. Unfortunately, this impacted our experience to the point that we left early and chose to have breakfast elsewhere. There seemed to be a lot of tension at times, which affected the atmosphere when certain staff were present. It’s a shame, because the property itself is very nice and has a lot of potential.

Lovely stay. Great location, 5 minutes from Forsyth Park. Room was charming & clean, with lots of antiques. Perfect, cool temperature. Breakfast was delicious, with a continental bar of yogurts, muffins etc available. & a served, plated breakfast. The plated breakfast was hot & home-cooked, great quality. The dessert hour was super tasty as well. Check in was smooth. Lively farmers/artisan market on Saturday mornings at the park, must do! Bonus for the local cat garden nearby - so sweet!! 🐈🐈‍⬛

Took a short notice trip & so glad we chose Azalea for our stay. Everything was clean & comfortable. Janet & Q went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable in our room & at the dining table. Fantastic snacks in the evening - especially the wings & the red velvet cupcakes! Thanks Q! Was able to find easy street parking.
