My husband and I have been visiting Tybee for 3 years now. We absolutely love the vibe, the shopping, and the people. We usually come during the off season so the bar on the pier is never open but this time, we decided to take a small trip before the kids start back at school. We enjoyed getting to explore the concession stands and the bar as well. They have an amazing selection of drinks something for everyone. And the bartender behind the bar was AMAZING!!! She had the cutest pink hair and the best smile. She was very welcoming and informative, she recommended some really cool spots for us to check out and I’m so grateful. She stood out to us because of her quirky upbeat attitude, you could tell she loved her job and her surroundings. Later in the day we stopped back at the food stand and the gentlemen that were there were also just as friendly and informative. They joked around with us and it was refreshing to feel so welcomed. We had the best chili cheese dogs. Didn’t get to try the ice cream but I assume it’s just as amazing as everything else. The pier is a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend

As a former bartender, the alcoholic drinks that I got were terrible and if they didn't cost so much I'd have poured them out. The service was quick, but that was the only good thing about it as far as the bar area goes. The food smelled delicious. The atmosphere was fun. Fun music, people dancing, plenty of seating.

Nice place right inside the pavilion. CASH ONLY. There’s an atm under the pavilion too, but bartender was friendly and awesome. Grabbed a brew and caught so great views and sun. 10/10

Tony and I was down at the Tybee Island Beach front and we decided to go on the Pier! That is where the Riptide Bar is located since 1943! Tony paid $4 for his PBR and I didn't get anything. I left him to sit on the wooden decking while I walked to the end of the pier Definitely recommend and will definitely go again
