This hotel really shot me! At first, I didn’t think it would be worth it, but it is so beautiful on the inside. The details were so beautiful and it was very spacious. Anytime I go to Tybee Island, I will get this hotel. Don’t judge a book by his cover!

The room#5 was A-OK! The service was a 10 PLUS! The location was central to EVERYWHERE we wanted or needed to go! The front desk ANGEL named Cynthia was simply superb. From the moment we began dealing with her in March of this year, until the day we left the island (8/6/26) she was just the best. She handled anything we needed. She even offered to get us vinegar from the grocery store for our sunburn! You just do not find service like that everywhere. Due to Cynthia, WE WILL BE BACK Lord willing! Thanks again for making our stay COMPLETE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

This place is a real hidden gem - I almost don't want to share! Perfectly located to trek over to the quiet side of the beach, or walk down to the pier and restaurants. Rooms are basic, clean and comfortable with cute kitschy decor. Pool is great. The woman working the front desk (not sure if she is the owner) is very welcoming and accommodating. The only issues we experienced were that the a/c unit can be a little loud and the parking is a little tight.

My mom, my kids, and I stayed here for four night last week (7/18-7/22) and we would 100% stay again. The hotel is in a central location, with a small walk and easy access to the beach. The staff was great, welcoming, and very informative about how to navigate the island and not get ran over. Our room was a deluxe suite, it was perfect for the four of us. It was clean and well maintained! The only thing negative is the air conditioning units need to be updated, I did have to buy myself a box fan. The pool was great and kids enjoyed that more than the beach I think. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had a great stay at the Royal Palms. The rooms were very cute. The pool was nice and clean. It was within easy walking distance from the beach. It's the perfect place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep and rest in between trips to the beach.
