We had such a great experience at Fannie’s On the Beach! We ordered the Low Country Boil with seasoned shrimp, corn on the cob, potatoes and sausage, and the Surf and Turf with a rack of pork ribs, seasoned shrimp, fries and coleslaw. Everything was absolutely fantastic and packed with flavor! The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was fun and laid-back, and you really can’t beat being right on the beach. Great food, great service and the perfect beach vibe. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the Tybee Island area! 🌊🦐🍖☀️
Jul 14, 2026 · Google ReviewWe were able to walk in at noon and be seated right away. We chose outside seating and it was nicely shaded. Our server was kind and the service was quick. We were in and out with drinks, Tacos, kids meal and paying in about 30 minutes. Shrimp tacos and frozen daiquiri were delicious. Fun little beachy spot!
Aug 6, 2026 · Google ReviewTake out food was good. I really liked the grilled chicken caesar salad. The croutons were awesome. They didn’t give us the kid drinks which we didn’t realize until we got back. One of the mozzarella cheese wedges was hollow. Ordered a second time on a different day. This time they didn’t forget anything so that’s a plus. Vegetarian in laws really liked the Beyond Burger.
Apr 9, 2026 · Google ReviewThis was our first time coming to Fannie’s and sadly we were disappointed. We chose to come here due to the variety of options. We ordered burgers and some crab legs. The crab legs were very small - not worth $40 🙁 the burger was a basic grilled burger but the fries were delicious! Our server was Emily and she was absolutely wonderful! Any concerns that we had she was super quick to solve! Super personable and a yapper, which we LOVE! She’s great! 😊
May 23, 2026 · Google ReviewThe location is excellent, with the beach dunes across the street. The restaurant is not crazy loud. The decor is appropriate for a beach themed restaurant. The frozen sangria and Pina Colada were tasty. The "Beer Battered" onion rings seemed closer to a frozen breadcrumb product, and were dry. Most were untouched. The Bang Bang shrimp tacos were excellent, flavorful without being overpowering. The Hawaiian pizza was disappointing in many ways. It just wasn't flavorful. The crust wasn't tasty, and wasn't cooked properly. The crust was underdone, but the edges were burned. This leads me to believe that the pizza stone was not allowed to get back to fill temperature before another (my) pizza was cooked. The photos show this. On top of that, the pizza was not even properly cut, with the cuts not reaching the edges (photo). I guess we had the backup weekday cook. Stay away from the pizza, but the restaurant is worth visiting.
