My partner, our 8 month old baby and I booked the place for 2 nights on the way back home from Orlando. I was originally excited to stay at the Dunes Inn due to its setting and vibe. We absolutely loved tybee island but this hotel was just a little dirty. A cockroach got in thru night 1 and we noticed that the floors were overall pretty dirty (made the bottom of our socks black). Our freezer was very dirty though we only needed the fridge and it was clean! Shower also wasn’t working great at all. Just all slight annoyances especially with a little baby who we try to keep happy and clean! The staff were attentive and kind! The large pool with the palms over hanging was awesome. The seating area in the annex was great at night! Again really pretty palms on the grounds! Overall just a little disappointed with the price we payed to stay on tybee for 2 nights.

Last minute decision to check out Tybee Island. Dunes Inn was recommended by some friendly locals we met. Booked a room online about 30 minutes before we checked in. Sam in the office was friendly and helpful. Had a room ready for us with 2 Queen beds. A/C worked great. Bed was top firm for my taste, but just right for my friend. The room had a refrigerator in it where we found a mess from previous occupants, 2 diet Cokes had frozen and sprayed all over. I went and let them know at the office and they offered to move us, but we were in and set. The rate was not bad before all the taxes and add-ons. Still not sure what the $15.00 fee was for. I'd stay there again.

I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this room but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was oldschool friendly. The rooms were vey clean and the vibe was very good here especially being a couple of blocks from everything. We will be back and Melissa, Tonya, Victoria and Sam were awesome! Everybody that worked there was amazing and very helpful. Thank you everybody and we hope to be back soon!!

Had a great stay. Beds were clean and towels looked fresh. We had the suite which included everything you needed in a kitchen. The floors seemed dirty and stained our socks but that’s my only complaint. We will still come back and recommend this inn to our friends. Thanks, Joy!

My husband and I booked for 5days for our 13yr wedding anniversary, we enjoyed our stay and most definitely and mean most definitely stay here. The vibe is amazing and the room looks just like online. The suite are beautiful. Some rooms got a balcony. It’s beautiful we had a balcony room. The pool was amazing and each staff was great. Shoutout to Ms. Joy a very sweet friendly lady. It’s only a 2min walk to the beach literally it’s right there ‼️ Food and restaurants was extremely close so you do have to walk far at all. Overall we had an amazing stay and amazing 13yr anniversary weekend ‼️ we will be back soon.
