Nice little Motel with a great staff! Room was clean and tidy. Location was great with the strip, the pier, and the beach all close by. Zero issues and would book again without hesitation

We were looking last minute to stay one night in Tybee Island. If you know Tybee then you know you will pay to park EVERYWHERE on the Island. So we were specifically looking for a place that was within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. SandCastle Inn was it! At first I was hesitant because of the reviews. People were complaining about it being run down, the pool being dirty, and even one review mentioned there being bugs. Other hotels in the same vicinity wanted $300 plus for a single night. Sandcastle Inn was much more reasonably priced so for just one night we decided to take a chance. When we arrived we didn’t see the “run down” motel people were talking about. The outside is more than decent and in a very convenient location. The pool was not dirty and our kids had a blast in it. And the rooms, they were clean and definitely NO bugs! Was it fancy? No. Were the beds luxurious? No. But it was clean, safe, well kept, and we were able to walk to everything. Lastly when we went to leave we unfortunately locked our keys in the car… was definitely a crummy way to end our short stay. Instead of being pushy the office staff Tammy & Melinda were very understanding and accommodating while we worked on getting a locksmith out there to get us back into our car. They were patient, kind and made sure we weren’t stuck in the heat with our children. We will definitely stay at Sandcastle Inn again in the future! Don’t believe every Google review you read because some people only write them because they enjoy complaining.
