Jean HilligossVisited North Tybee Island the first week of May, 2026. It wasn't crowded and had no problem finding parking (you have to pay). I think it was $3 or $4/hr. The beach is clean and a fun, family area. The lighthouse is close by. Chairs and umbrellas are available to rent from someone who sits on the beach. We rented 2 chairs and an umbrella for $50.
