Our guide was AMAZING! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. We learned so much about the marsh, little Tybee, the marine life, etc. I was nervous to kayak in the ocean, but once meeting our guide, I quickly settled in and felt comfortable. 10/10 recommend. One of the highlights of my Tybee vacation!
Jul 17, 2026 · Google ReviewWe toured with Lisa (best tour guide ever!!) and the experience was phenomenal!!!!!! She is super knowledgeable and fun! We got to see dolphins really close to us and the time exploring the island tide pools was so fun! Many creatures discovered! 12/10 would do again!
Jun 27, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat experience! Shortly after we booked the trip, I called with questions. The person I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Our tour guide, Dan, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about the ecology of the area. We also were fortunate to get very close to a dolphin. Thank you Dan and everyone at Sea Kayak Georgia for an awesome experience.
Mar 31, 2026 · Google ReviewThis place was great; the owner on the phone was able to squeeze me in last minute, and it was a longer tour than the other places I called (which couldn’t fit me in their schedule) for about the same price. I had been kayaking three times before, but it has been at least 10 years ago so I was a little rusty and even though I fell behind in the group for most of the ride, the guide’s assistant, Stephen, kept an eye out and stayed with me the whole time so that I would not fall behind by myself. he was very friendly and had a nice loud, hearty laugh and it made me feel like I wasn’t doing so bad after all. The main group leader with the group was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife and plants species on the island so it was interesting information and I learned a lot. we apparently got to see a very rare bird that eats oysters. We also got to witness two babies sharks circling around a fish carcass in the water. We saw many horseshoe crabs, and the kids enjoyed picking up the periwinkle snails in the mud. The only thing I had trouble with was since I was rushing to get there on time to pay for parking, I got there early and mistook the group that was scheduled before mine for my group. My group showed up at the end so I was able to go through the tutorial session again with my real group. All in all, it was a great experience for me on my short vacation to Georgia, I would highly recommend this place.
