It’s a beautiful lighthouse to check out if you are at the island. There is a ticket fee of $14 for adults and $12 for kids, under 6 are free. The ticket gets you to tour lighthouse, houses around the lighthouse and the museum across the lighthouse. They have free parking which needs to be exited by 5.30 pm and you can get tickets latest by 4.30 pm. It’s a beautiful structure which has 7 levels with 25 stairs each level. Beautiful view from the top. The houses around the lighthouse were great delight for kids and the museum includes from historic, touristic and cultural changes that happened around the island. Kids enjoyed every bit of it.
2 months ago · Google ReviewSo much fun! Climb to the top of the lighthouse, step out onto the railed top deck, and take in the view. Absolutely Beautiful ❣️ The whole property is a lesson in history with houses that show the past, review renovation procedures, its like walking back in time. Also has a souvenir shop. Cute, Quaint and worth the stop!
3 months ago · Google ReviewThis is a great place to visit if you're visiting the beach it's close by there's fort Pulaski and it's a very calm island not oversaturated with beach shops or anything like that. It's a very relaxing place and this lighthouse has a lot of history This is the third one that was built here. If you're into maritime history You should definitely visit.
2 months ago · Google ReviewTybee Island Lighthouse is a must-see! The site is incredibly well-preserved, and you can tell the staff really cares about the history here—they were so friendly and courteous during our visit. Make sure to take your time reading the information plaques; they are truly intriguing. The climb to the top is 100% worth it for the incredible views! Pro tip: Don’t just focus on the lighthouse itself. The head keeper’s accommodations are a hidden gem. They are perfectly preserved and offer a fascinating glimpse into what life was like in the early 1900s. Highly recommend!
