Although the waves were small that day—which is just part of nature—Chap kept us engaged with great conversation and positive energy. This was the first time our girls, 10 and 7, had ever had any exposure to surfing and it was FANTASTIC! This surf camp, UKE'N SURF, is hands down their most favorite camp ever. Both of our girls gained so much confidence and knowledge this week. They were popping up and riding waves on day one! I'm already trying to schedule additional surf lessons this summer with Tybee Surf Lessons for our whole family. Turner, Chap, Drew, and their helper Will could not have been more amazing. Our girls loved every minute. Highly recommend!

My 6 year old son did the summer week long surf camp known as Uke N’ Surf Camp. What an experience! Turner and the other instructors are great at what they do and they are so caring and encouraging to each child. Watching my child get up on those waves smiling ear to ear was one of the best experiences I’ve had as a mother. We will definitely be doing another one of Turner’s camps!

센터 앞 주차장에 주차 후 해변으로 걸어가야합니다. 주차요금은 선불이며, 주차요금 단말기는 8시부터 작동하므로 일찍도착하더라도 결제 후 해변으로 이동하는 것이 좋습니다. 샤워시설이 있긴하지만 보통 발에 묻은 모래 정도만 씻고 숙소에 가서 샤워하는 듯 합니다. 비치타월, 슬리퍼, 래쉬가드를 챙기시면 좋습니다. LA와는 달리 서핑수트를 입지 않습니다. 개인 래쉬가드나 운동복상의를 입는 것이 좋고, 30불을 내고 래쉬가드를 구매하는 옵션은 굳이 추천하지 않습니다. Instructor들은 매우 친절하고 충분히 열정적으로 레슨에 임합니다.
