Loved dinner at the bar here! She crab 🦀 soup was loaded with crab and our two entrees (halibut and Chilean sea bass) were excellent. We got the ceme brûlée cheesecake for dessert along with espresso martinis. The only disappointment was their red wine selection.

It has taken over 3 years for us to get to Chive. That was too long. It deserves 5 stars even though it is not a 5-star establishment. It is, however, one of the best restaurants in Savannah - IMNSHO First, it is swanky inside with booths done up in rich, dark colors. There is no doubt you are having a cocktail or glass of wine here. And it will not disappoint. The bar staff is competent and talented. The wine list is tight with a good range for differing tastes. The prices are fair Fish is a specialty in Savannah. It is surprising how few places do it really well. The Chive is very good. Reviewers rightly point to the SheCrab soup (it’s the best I’ve had) and the mussel (in a yellow curry with fennel broth that could be a soup). And while the ceviche is popular, I found that the tuna gets lost in all the other flavors. The simply cooked Pong, however, are great nibbles if you just need a little something with your drink Overall, the menu has breadth enough to warrant Chive becoming one’s regular night out without straying into Cheesecake Factory product overload. The prices, too, are decent - especially given the quality. I will dine here again. And again after that. So should you

What a wonderful surprise! This place was such a pleasant discovery. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was truly outstanding!
