We stayed here for a staycation since we are sorta local to Savannah. First the perks: location is amazing and walking is fairly easy anywhere you want to venture out too. I love there is a beautiful square behind the hotel to walk too, valet service was top notch and amazing, the pool we loved, the garden outside was beautiful. The downside: pets the hotel is pet friendly almost too pet friendly with dogs everytime you come out of your room we are pet lovers but I felt like it was a bit much, the hotel I feel like could used some TLC as far as paint or upgrades go I’m sure being pet friendly doesn’t help and this is the big reason for some issues, the restaurant attached we won’t use again the food was bland, overcooked and very very overpriced in our opinion. We would 💯 percent stay here again even with the fee downsides because the perks outweigh the negatives for us.
Aug 4, 2026 · Google ReviewI've been to Savannah too many times to count and never knew about this tucked away diamond. This hotel definitely makes my visit again list. The location is perfect, the rooms are a nice change from the norm, and the staff members are great. It is more than pet friendly, the dogs are spoiled just as much as the human guests, so if you have a pet you'll love it here. If you don't have or like dogs know that you will see them here. They also offer free bikes to ride off property. The pool is nicely tucked away and very relaxing, a nice resort feel. The Brice has lived up to the "boutique" rating for me.
Jun 7, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a really nice looking place on the inside. Our room had a broken drawer, an iron holder but no iron nor board, and the layout is kind of strange. Like you can't use the desk chair without cutting off access to the other half of the room. We asked for an iron and was told they would send one up as soon as housekeeping got in, at 9 am—it never came. The restaurant on all of our 3 day stay was super slow, it took awhile for us to be acknowledged, I never got a biscuit I ordered, and no refill on coffee (luckily the lobby has coffee). Seriously, allocate at least an hour plus if you plan on having breakfast here. Staff was friendly but no one went above and beyond except Jamelle. The beds were really soft and the pillows flat as heck. Shower was ok, good pressure and hot water. Towels were great. Didn't use the pool, the workout room is difficult to find and not much inside. A couple of treadmills, bikes, some weights, no water refills, only water bottles.
May 5, 2026 · Google ReviewNot a friendly welcoming at the front desk. No sheets for the pull out sofa bed. When asked, I had to go and get them myself. Very expensive parking $50 per night. Room not clean. Halls feel dirty. Very noisy rooms, street noise making difficult to sleep. Would not recommend this if you expect a good hotel from AMEX travel recommendations. Ok if you expect a 2-3 star hotel.
