Cute pub atmosphere. Staph was very friendly. The food was so good. Portions were perfect size. Asked if we wanted dessert. Thinking it was reg size we ordered a slice of chocolate cake and the eclare. Huge I could not believe it. A definite must go to place.

It wasn't very busy at all when we stopped in for a bite around dinner time. Maggie was a very good server with just the right amount of conversation. We enjoyed a couple of Irish beers and munched on a delicious pastrami sandwich accompanied by a very good potato salad. The ambience and decor were awesome, but we would have liked to experience what a larger crowd would have been like. We would stop again if we ever return to Savannah.

I hate that I didn’t take pictures but please believe me this place is so good. Our friends had the Ruben and the pot roast sandwich, my wife had the chicken salad and a bowl of chicken and dumplings. I don’t eat anymore so I just had a bowl of potato salad. All of it was delicious, the flavor in the meats all the way through. The Ruben was perfect, I had a taste and it’s the best I ever had. All within walking distance to anywhere. The atmosphere is excellent, clean and beautiful decorated. Service was on point, polite and helpful.

Such a quaint little gastropub! Out of complete luck we waddled into Six Pence and had a great time. We parked at the paid lot just behind the restaurant and my weak bladdered buddy needed to find a rest room, so we popped in. We ordered a few beers and planned our day as we sat at the bar admiring our surroundings. The beers were cold and tasty. They have a pretty good menu, but we were just drinking. I really wanted some bangers & mash, but we had to move on. The staff was very friendly and gave us some ideas on sights to see. I highly recommend checking out Six Pence. It's a little gem, nestled in beautiful downtown Savannah.
