We stayed 3 days on the 6th floor. The view was beautiful. The services were amazing. I especially want to thank Leland. If you stay here I suggest that you go to the Sun Deck and also go to the area beyond the bar that has the beautiful, beautiful view. Our bartender had a great personality and sense of humour. The rooms were good, just nothing spectacular. We could not get our air conditioning to go below 71. This wouldn't necessarily bother most, but we like it cooler.
Jul 4, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a great location, literally on the River Front , walking distance to the plethora of restaurants, bars and shops . The lobby area was very nice , the lounge area had a beautiful view of the river . They also offer a rooftop lounge area that can be a romantic vibe . When I went it was 4th of July weekend so it was very busy and a lot of children. We ate at the Moss and Oak restaurant twice , I’ll write a separate review for . I enjoyed the complimentary coffee each morning in the lobby area. The fitness center has a lot of equipment so next time I will pack my gym clothes to work off all the delicious food we enjoyed. The room was nice and clean but the pillows are horrible, be ready for a neck ache so if booking make sure to bring your own pillows. This spot is ✨A-Love Approved
Jul 16, 2026 · Google ReviewWe enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. The location is excellent, the property was clean, and the river view was beautiful. We also appreciated how quiet the hotel was in the evenings, along with the very comfortable beds and strong AC. The complimentary coffee and water downstairs were a nice touch, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. There were just a few areas where communication and maintenance could be improved. It wasn’t very clear what amenities were included with our stay — for example, we only later found out about the $5 daily market credit. We also noticed that some guests had the breakfast buffet included, while others did not, and the buffet itself seemed a bit overpriced. Housekeeping was inconsistent one day and did not arrive until around 5–6 PM, and our room was not restocked with coffee or cups afterward. Our bathroom in Room 220 also had some visible water damage that could use repair. Additionally, the escalator seemed to work intermittently during our visit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the comfort and location of the hotel. We just wanted to share a few small improvements that could make the guest experience even better.
May 23, 2026 · Google ReviewOverall, I had a great 4-night stay at the Hyatt Regency while attending a work conference. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and definitely gave a luxury feel. The rooms and common areas were well maintained, and I enjoyed my overall experience. The biggest downside was the valet parking and checkout process. The valet system was extremely overcrowded, and I think the hotel could improve how it handles vehicle requests during busy checkout times. I also had an issue when my visitor used valet parking. I simply wanted to pay for my visitor’s parking with a separate card instead of having it charged to my room because my employer was covering my room expenses. Unfortunately, when I went to the front desk, an employee named Tequila was rude, unhelpful, and kept sending me to other people instead of trying to resolve the issue and listening to me speak, as I was trying to explain her my situation. It left both my friend and me feeling frustrated and stressed. Thankfully, Shantira from the motor/valet department completely turned the experience around. She was professional, patient, and genuinely wanted to help. She quickly understood the situation and made sure everything was handled correctly. I also want to recognize the front desk employee who is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho (I unfortunately don’t remember her name). She stepped in to complete the computer portion and helped get everything resolved so we could begin our 4-hour drive home without any further delays. Because of employees like Shantira and the front desk employee my overall experience remained positive. Hyatt Regency has a wonderful property, but there is definitely room for improvement with the valet system and ensuring all front desk staff provide the same level of customer service.
Jul 18, 2026 · Google ReviewLocation and staff are great! We stayed 2 nights on a river view room on the 6th floor. Mind you, it’s a heat wave here presently and temps at 9PM are still 93F. That said, the walkway on our level was cooler than our room. It was pumping cold air but by design the flow lacked to keep up with the heat. I understand that is a major factor here and likely due to building design the system just can’t handle the heat and cool the upper levels properly. If they can, then our room Sucks. Another reason for the 3* is that upon arrival the wifi wasn’t connected to the internet were the ability to connect to the streaming services on the TV. Mentioned both issues with the staff - said they’d have a tech come look at the room. Never heard anything further there. Only stayed 2 nights. Internet never connected nor did the tv. The room was clean. Beds were comfy. But it wasn’t cool like many come to expect in a hotel these days. Is what it is.
