We loved this place and plan on coming back anytime we are in Savannah! They have rotating themes and change them every few months - the theme when we went was Summer Daze and was Millennial school coded. The decor was fantastic and there were so many little fun throwbacks to find and chuckle about. My husband and I both teach high school science and loved the creativity of the drinks, especially AP Drinking and the Group Project.

It’s Christmas nostalgia, Savannah style equal parts elegance, whimsy, and Southern hospitality. The bar’s aesthetic is irresistible. Think vintage holiday lounge meets modern cocktail lab: garland-lined shelves, ornaments tucked in clever corners, leg lamps, and warm lighting that makes your drink look like it belongs on a postcard. It’s playful without being kitschy a tasteful nod to the season that enhances, rather than overwhelms, the experience. And then there are the cocktails truly the star of the show. The menu leans into creativity, with festive ingredients, layered flavors, and presentations that spark delight. Whether it’s a spiced old fashioned, a peppermint-forward martini, or something topped with froth and flame, you’ll find both artistry and balance. What impressed me most was the speed and precision behind the bar: the bartenders crafted complex, multi-ingredient drinks with the kind of efficiency that would make Santa’s elves blush. Attentive, personable, and clearly passionate, they managed to keep the bar humming while still making time for conversation and recommendations. In true Savannah spirit, there’s history tucked behind even a holiday cocktail. After all, the city once lit up with gas lamps and candlelit windows during the 1800s long before anyone wrapped lights around palm trees. Standing inside The Vinyl Room during December feels like a modern take on that tradition, glowing warmth against the cool river breeze, a gathering place where spirits (literal and figurative) come alive. If you’re looking for a festive spot that nails atmosphere, delivers standout cocktails, and celebrates the season with heart and sophistication, The Vinyl Room is a must-visit. It captures Savannah’s unique ability to blend charm, history, and celebration and does it one exquisitely mixed drink at a time. Cheers to a holiday experience worth visiting.

Last Call in the Library: Vinyl Room Pop-Up (Running until Nov. 16th) This pop-up theme was so fun! The whole bar has been styled like a library meets speakeasy with a mystery experience added in. The menu is a case file with cocktails cleverly placed throughout the contents of the folder. The visual appearance of the cocktails make you feel compelled to take a picture! Well done!!! The atmosphere is great. Service was exceptionally good. Cocktails exceeded expectations!

Came here for the clue pop up and absolutely loved it! The drinks are pretty small for the price (think half a drink vs a traditional full drink) but they are unique and the atmosphere helps make up for it. Definitely recommend popping by for a fun experience before dinner.
