My sweet wife took me here for my birthday dinner. Reservations are a good idea on busy nights. We were promptly seated and placed our drink orders. We split a bowl of Lobster Bisque. Piping hot and tasty. My wife got the Lump Crab Cake appetizer for her entree. Deliciously seasoned with minimal breading. They could teach The Pirates' House how to make a crab cake. I had the Lobster Ravioli, which was to die for! Generous helping of lobster pasta with an outstanding cream sauce and perfectly cooked Shrimp on top. Definately the best dinner on this trip. Fresh food served quickly in a cool atmosphere. A must stop the next time we're in town.
Jul 17, 2026 · Google ReviewI’ve had 8.2 million people read my reviews, so I know how important it is to be honest, but kind when leaving a review. My wife took me to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. She ordered the maple pecan salmon over collard greens and a side of broccoli. I ordered a New York Strip steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. She said her food was delicious, but a little more sauce on the salmon would have taken it over the top. My steak was perfectly cooked - simple , but delicious. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were good. We shared a slice of key lime pie which was about a seven out of ten. Our server was wonderful, although we had to wait quite a while for our pie to arrive, because she thought someone else had brought it to us. I saved the appetizer for last, because it was the most well composed dish out of everything we ate, during the several days we were there. It was a dish of fried green tomatoes, with a Vidalia onion mustard based relish, and what tasted like chipotle sauce, topped with goat cheese and pea shoot sprouts or some type of microgreen. When I tell you that this dish was sooooo good, you best believe me… As many times as I have been to Savannah over the years, this dish ranks in the top five. God willing, I am going back just to get it. I may just have to order two… Go get you some.
Jun 10, 2026 · Google Review10/10 I simply can’t wait to return to this establishment after stopping by on a 13 hour drive. First of all, we showed up maybe 15 or 20 minutes before closing and the staff never mentioned once that they were about to close, as we were enjoying our meal I pulled up the website to see that they had been closed for almost 20 minutes by then and never once did our server or anyone rush us, they allowed us to enjoy our experience. Our server Rick was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu, gave us space but checked on us often as well. We enjoyed the artillery punch, the lobster and crab bisque soup, the crab dip with homemade (literally fresh and hot) tortilla chips, my brother had the pan seared mahi, my niece had the fettuccini Alfredo, and the star of the show was the shrimp and lobster ravioli. The highest of highest compliments to the chef, i can’t wait to come back and eat here again!
Jul 14, 2026 · Google ReviewMy husband & I stopped for lunch on our way back from Florida to Charlotte. We were greeted by a very nice hostess who recommended their fried green tomato sampler as she sat us at a window table with a view of the river. The atmosphere was an historic building you’d look for in Savannah. We then had the pleasure of having Chequita as our server. She made suggestions for both cocktails and entrees. . . and they did not disappoint. My husband started with their signature Chatham Artillery Punch. We then had the shrimp & grits and the pan seared lobster ravioli. Both were delicious. The lobster ravioli was the best I’ve ever tasted. We finished with their peach cobbler which was served hot with vanilla ice cream. Again. . . delicious! Both our meal and service were perfect. Chequita makes you feel like you’re at a table in her home. We will definitely be back on our next drive through.
May 2, 2026 · Google ReviewWe loved the vibe, and the ambiance was cozy with a charming historical touch. Our server recommended the pecan bourbon salmon, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the grouper Oscar, and he loved it as well. The mashed potatoes were some of the best we’ve ever had. Personally, I think this was the best meal I had during our time in Savannah.
