My recent stay at the Residence Inn Midtown Savannah was excellent from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly make you feel taken care of throughout your stay. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom is modern and well‑appointed, and the work area is perfect for getting things done comfortably. Everything feels clean, fresh, and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent each morning, with plenty of options and a team that keeps everything stocked and running smoothly. The staff is fantastic—always willing to assist with anything you need, big or small. Parking is easy and convenient, and the location is great—just a short drive from downtown Savannah, making it simple to explore the city. Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this property for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service.

Place is decent. Parking can get tight so beware especially around the holidays or any other busy times. Just make sure that your door is locking properly. I didn't realize my locks weren't working until I had already stayed in my room the first night. They moved me after I reported it, but at that point my nerves were shot.

For a weekend stay the lodging was suitable, but there were of few things that could have made the stay better. I checked in around 5:30PM and the place looked like it was closed. The lights were low near the front desk and I had to ring the door bell for someone to approach the desk. Check in was quick but lacked details. I had to ask about parking, where the elevator was, couldn’t find a luggage cart, and later had to call and get clarity about how to log into the Wi-Fi. The room we booked was advertised as a 2 bedroom suite, with 1 room having a king bed and the other having two queen beds. Both rooms had 1 standard size bed. I did not try to have that resolved, although there were three individuals, because there was a pull out couch. The mattress in the pull out couch was paper thin and, in my opinion, cannot be considered a viable sleeping arrangement for an adult. The bedding set for the pull out lacked a fitted sheet. I did not try to have this resolved because I opted to just sleep on the couch and not use the bed. The breakfast was simple— a little more than continental. Both mornings included 1 meat option, scrambled eggs, and a waffle maker for hot breakfast, in addition to other typical continental breakfast items. Finally, on check out day, a housekeeper knocked on the room door and proceeded to use her master key to enter the room around 9:45AM. We, the occupants were getting dressed. Earlier, I had placed the magnet on the door that says “Not now” to signify we did not want to be disturbed. When another person in the room met the housekeeper at the door, she proceeded to ask when we were leaving, as if we were late checking out. I found that inconsiderate. On a positive note, the room was clean, the kitchen was spacious and this room included a real fireplace, which was unique and scary all at once. It was in a great location for the event I was in town for. The suite was mostly comfortable in the sense that it was the closest we could get to the feel of an AirBnB, which are few and far between for optimal driving distance to the event venue.
