Oak 36 Bar + Kitchen is a great option when you want something modern and relaxed without heading downtown. The vibe is stylish yet comfortable — perfect for a casual happy hour or an easy dinner with friends. We stopped in for happy hour and were impressed with the quality and value. The wood-fired meatballs were absolutely delicious, served with crusty bread for dipping, and paired perfectly with their cocktails. The espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had — smooth, rich, and beautifully presented. The space itself is inviting with plenty of seating, a great bar setup, and friendly staff who make the experience easy and enjoyable. Our bartender was especially informative, taking time to explain drink options and specials, which made the visit even better. I also love that they offer 50% off bottles of wine on Saturdays — such a fun reason to stop in with friends.

I came with 4 coworkers after a long day. We ordered a round of drinks and our food choices. 20 minutes later, the bartender was still talking to women at the bar with his foot propped up in his best Captain Morgan and was not doing anything work-related. Our server had to eventually interrupt his conversation and ask him to do his job. It ended up being a full 30 minutes from the time we ordered our drinks to the time they were served. We won't be coming back.
