Rachel Make My CakeWe wanted donuts one morning during our stay in Savannah. Looked up this local gem and read the reviews. Looked good! Smelled amaaaaazing in there. It was so hard to pick just a few! The plain glazed donut was SO GOOD. The peach fritter was my least favorite - not a lot of peach flavor. I’m so glad I don’t live nearby or I would be 600 pounds. 🤤

Demoins SimpsonWe were looking for a good donut shop for our first time in Savannah. Who knew we would get so lucky and pick up some of the best donuts we have ever had. Although depending on where you are staying it can be a little far but definitely worth the drive.

And honestly, it has. Since 1982, they’ve been serving Savannah families with handmade donuts, pastries, cakes, and treats that have become a local tradition. The fritters are absolutely incredible, crispy on the outside, soft and packed with flavor inside. Easily some of the best around. But what really makes this place stand out is the consistency and nostalgia. It’s not trendy or overhyped; it’s authentic. The kind of bakery where generations of families have probably grabbed donuts on Saturday mornings for decades. Savannah wouldn’t feel the same without Baker’s Pride. If you appreciate old-school bakeries, classic donuts, and places with real character, this spot is a must.

Mr BellThe BEST donuts I’ve EVER had without a doubt and I’ve had my fair share (trust me lol). The service was nothing but amazing, the atmosphere is very much like a locally owned mom and pop donut shop. Maple Bacon donut was by far the star. 5/5 and will be coming here from now on. $21 for 4 MASSIVE donuts and a massive cupcake.

Nyla SimsYou can count on Bakers Pride and that’s what really matters. Their donuts have consistently been good and since most people only do maple bars during certain seasons I really appreciate them for always having my favorite donut available. The staff move quick and are efficient and their customer service is consistently great no matter the time of day I have came in. Every donut I’ve tried has been great, get here early or you’ll always feel like you came too late.
