We stayed right in the heart of downtown Savannah for a quick one-night trip, and this hotel turned out to be the perfect base for exploring. The absolute best part was being within easy walking distance of the riverfront walk, great local shopping, and tons of delicious restaurants. • The front desk staff was incredibly knowledgeable and honest right from the moment we checked in. • They transparently pointed out that we could skip the valet fee by using an adjacent multi-story covered public garage, which saved us a lot of money. • It was a breeze to plan our day right from the lobby thanks to a convenient local ticket desk that helped us map out the historic district's top spots. • Our room wasn't massive, which is pretty standard for a historic downtown location, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable night. • You definitely shouldn't skip a trip up to the rooftop pool area since the panoramic city views from up there are absolutely spectacular. • The complimentary hot breakfast buffet downstairs is surprisingly good and has plenty of quick options to fuel up before a heavy day of walking. • It is a fantastic, worry-free spot to drop your bags if you are traveling as a couple or taking a weekend getaway with the kids.

Great hotel and location for exploring savannah! More here to see than first anticipated, it's right near the lovely river street. Rooms are clean and very comfortable bed! There's a lovely sunset view from the pool area. Staff super friendly and lovely, we had a great stay!. Also drinks and breakfast were included and lots of choice to get you started for the day

Located across the street from the river and just a couple streets from all the stores and restaurants in town, this is the perfect location. The rooftop pool and views were a great addition and the complimentary hot breakfast with your stay made this an overall great value. Breakfast and coffee were good both days we stayed. The cinnamon rolls were warm and yummy. A definite must try. For fresh fruit there were bananas and apples. We did ask questions at the front desk 1 day about the DOT transportation and were told they were unsure what we were talking about and to check with concierge when they returned but other than that everyone was friendly and pretty helpful.

This hotel is a bit shabby, but we had a great stay! The hotel was quiet and clean. The front desk staff was friendly, the concierge was amazing, and the breakfast server was very nice, as were the valets. The location is perfect - very close to the shops and restaurants along the river, but also walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We didn't have to take transit once during our stay.
