While traveling, I booked a deep tissue massage with Darren after coming across his great reviews at the spa. Darren was professional, personable, and clearly passionate about both massage therapy and overall health/wellness. His knowledge sets him apart; he is clearly a well educated professional. He offers exceptional post therapy education if you’re willing to listen. If I lived nearby, this would be a regular appointment without question. Thanks Darren, hope to see you again!

Apr 10, 2026 · Google ReviewI come to this spa a few times a year. This trip was disappointing. I was the last appointment of the day and my therapist "checked out". Paid for deep tissue massage. Asked for more pressure..... Didn't happen.... Usually you start face down on the table working from the back down, the the front.... She didn't even touch my arms or hands.... I won't permit that therapist if I go back.
Feb 28, 2026 · Google ReviewI had a great massage with Michelle and a wonderful facial with Priscilla. Both listened to my concerns and tailored their service. The staff was very warm and attentive and the environment was calming. If I come back to Savannah, will have another spa visit!
Feb 22, 2026 · Google ReviewFrom beginning to end, communication with the spa team, the technicians and the staff at the Westin Resort, even was wonderful. I had a full day of pampering with a massage, facial, hydrating therapy, sauna and steam room. Wimon and Quiana took excellent care of me and I left feeling so revived and exhilarated after a bout of jet lag from traveling. The icing on the cake is the calming ambience of the sanctuary for complete relaxation with hot neck warmers, drinks and snacks in between waiting or at your leisure. We will most definitely be back and have found our 5-Star spa go to when visiting Savannah!
Jan 17, 2026 · Google ReviewHad a great massage with my mother here. The gentleman that did my massage was excellent and techniques were perfect and applied with correct pressure. The facility and shop were small but beautiful with a variety of great products and perfumes. I will say it would be easier to access if you just go through the Starbucks next door and directly to the spa as otherwise it was a little bit of a maze. The front desk associate upon checkout wasn't very friendly because I had a groupon which was expressed at time of booking but otherwise was a nice experience with my mom.
Oct 4, 2025 · Google ReviewI recently visited this spa with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was informed that the steam room was out of service, which was not mentioned in advance. At check-in, I agreed to an add-on service that I was looking forward to. However, the massage therapist didn’t perform it. When I asked about it afterward, he mentioned that the front desk hadn’t informed him, while the front desk said he was new and should have known. It was unclear where the breakdown in communication happened, but as a guest, I was left feeling confused and disappointed. To add to the frustration, I was still asked to leave a 20% gratuity despite the oversight. While I understand that mistakes happen, plus of course I was not charged for the service, I would have appreciated more accountability and a gesture of goodwill to make up for the experience. Overall, the massage was good. However, I felt like the therapist was truly rushing through the service. I hope this feedback helps the spa improve communication between the front desk and therapists, and ensure guests receive the full experience they are expecting.
Jul 20, 2025 · Google ReviewMy husband and I stayed at The Westin from June 6–9 to celebrate our anniversary. While the overall experience was fair, there were several areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by valet staff and opted for the daily valet service at $45 per day. Check-in was handled by a front desk associate who was friendly, personable, and shared a thoughtful conversation about his military family, which I appreciated as a retired Army veteran. However, unlike other guests checking in around us, we were not provided with basic orientation details such as directions to the elevators or information about pool wristbands. This inconsistency in communication was noticeable and disappointing. Our room was clean and nicely arranged, but a few amenities were lacking. There were not enough towels upon arrival, and although we requested additional ones, they were inexplicably removed the same day—even though they had not been used. The room lacked a microwave, despite having a refrigerator, and the air conditioning did not cool the room adequately; although set at 67°F, it felt closer to 70°F, making the space less comfortable. One of the most frustrating issues during our stay involved the valet service. On one occasion, my husband retrieved our vehicle around 6:00 a.m. and returned it at approximately 8:30 a.m. Later that morning, when we requested the car again, the valet brought us the wrong vehicle. We then discovered our car had not moved in over three hours. This occurred three separate times during our stay, which understandably caused significant frustration. That said, there were also highlights. The pool area was excellent—clean, enjoyable, and supported by an attentive staff. We also visited the spa, which provided a wonderful and relaxing experience with professional service. I chose The Westin because I was attending the Girls with Grit Conference. While there were moments of exceptional service, the inconsistencies in communication, valet operations, and room comfort impacted our overall experience. With targeted improvements, this property has the potential to offer a much more seamless and enjoyable stay
Jun 23, 2025 · Google ReviewFirst the positives: My massage and pedicure were excellent. The best I’ve had in Savannah. The massage therapist took care of all my problem areas and the pressure was perfect. For my pedicure, my nails were shaped perfectly. The polish job was perfect and my feet were soft and glowing. The negatives: The place is in great need of updating and repairs. It’s dated and the steam room was a bit rickety. Some of the looks I received as I entered the building were unsavory. When they renovate, there should be separate entrances for spa patrons and country club members. The technician that did my pedicure was a sweet woman and my nails looked nice, but her views about Asians taking over Savannah should be reserved for private conversations. I was not feeling it. I also wasn’t feeling her comments about the condition my feet were in. I don’t want to hear about all the mistakes I’m making in my self care routines (or lack thereof). Im sure she thought she was being helpful but It’s such a turn off. I agree with other commentators about the relaxation area having too much traffic. It’s just a bad design in general. I had to try this place because it’s the one of only a few full services spas offering services and amenities. However, I will not be returning.
