Been here many times over several years. Always great. The famous flounder is delicious, but don't stop there. Veal chop, steaks, many other delicious items. Prices have climbed a lot over the years, but so has everywhere. We didn't know how good we had it in 2019.

Very expensive local place that has been there forever. All went well with the food and service until our server got busy. Slapped down the bill before we asked for it. Took 10 minutes to return. Charged us for something we didn’t have. Then charged us for another tables bill. Finally straightened it out ( still waiting for refund on overcharge. This definitely soured the experience. Just so you know: one appetizer, two mid priced entrees , a dessert to share. No beverages: $119.

Very nice restaurant with excellent food and a beautiful old-style atmosphere. The venue feels classic and elegant, exactly as advertised. The staff was pleasant, polite, and welcoming, and the menu offers a very good variety of dishes with plenty of great options to choose from. A couple of downsides: we were celebrating my son’s birthday, and several times we were asked whether we were celebrating a special occasion. Usually, this leads to at least a small gesture or treat, so it was surprising that nothing at all was offered this time. The second downside was that the food preparation took quite a long time, and the wait felt longer than expected. Overall, still a very enjoyable experience with great food and a lovely setting.

Had an amazing meal.and overall experience. Food was fabulous, I had the Gumbo followed by the 5 layered lasagna and both were faultless. My wife had the pork chop special which I finished off for her and this too was really good. I had the berry basket for desert and again it was delicious. Service from Amanda was second to non....really friendly attentive and engaged with us brilliantly and this helped make the experience. The restaurant was recommended to us and we are more than happy to share that recommendation
