I’ve been 5x in a 3 day period. Close to memorial hospital, many healthy options. Clean eating, with a staff that genuinely cares. Sat at the bar one night and Ricky, the bartender / server, was incredibly attentive, handled my food allergy, and was all around a great human. If supporting local, healthy food tasting food, caring staff matters.. this is the spot. To the kayak leaders, tell Ricky thank you.

Kayak Kafe is independently owned, the idea of a restaurant serving vegan food and regular food is outof this world. Our server was Roxanna, terrific service. She was knowledgeable about the business and the food. Come on people get to this location.

I ordered some vegan food for takeout on Thursday and encountered Rickey/Ricky. He was inviting so much so that we returned the next day for Happy Hour. He remembered my name and it felt like I was in Cheers.

This place was larger than I thought compare to what it appears from the parking lot. This would be a cute place to catch up with friends over some food. The food was quite surprisingly good and savory. I ordered a few entrée and sampled with my group.
