Such a fascinating place to visit. My school decided to visit as group for our 21st Century program. My students got a chance to explore a variety of fish and sea animals as well as had the opportunity to touch some of the crabs inside of their tank. My students learned so much that day and they were quite impressed and engaged. Before my group went inside the center, they got a chance to walk along the trail behind the building. There was honestly not much to see on the trail, but the kids enjoyed looking at the water.

What a wonderful experience! The center is small, but packed with interesting aquatic displays and educational materials. The lighting seems sensory friendly. The staff is very friendly! The outside trails are easy to walk and the path is clearly marked. There well-shaded picnic tables scattered near the front of the main building, underneath Live Oaks dripping with Spanish Moss. I found it breathtaking!

Nice place to learn a lot about sea animals and birds. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Loved the half mile trail walk in the back, the breeze once you get to the pier and the kids enjoyed climbing on the 300 year old tree.

Great fun at a great value! I cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you have young kids! We had a blast watching our little one run around the aquarium area looking at all the fish. For the low entry fee this was a home run. The front staff were extremely friendly and very kid friendly, the walking path they have was stroller friendly as well, and seeing little crabs running across made ours and our toddlers day. Decided to give UGA a try while in town and we were not disappointed at all.
