This one surprised me. I though it was going to be touristy so I have avoided it for dinner. It was great! The staff was excellent, cocktails were perfect and the food was delicious. We tried a bit of everything, it did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back, especially when it cools down and we can enjoy the outdoor space.

Some of the best steamed oysters we’ve ever had! It was our 1st time here and our waitress was absolutely amazing! We can’t remember her name but my wife has a gluten allergy and she was kind enough to get the chef to make a small bowl of their grits. It was the best grits I’ve ever had and my wife’s 1st time trying it. Overall a great experience and if we’re ever down here again we will 100% stop by!

We were really looking forward to coming back to Sorry Charlie’s while visiting Savannah from Central Florida. We had been here about three years ago and remembered really enjoying it, so unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. The food was surprisingly tasteless and lacked the quality and flavor we remembered. On top of that, the prices have gone up ridiculously while the portions have gotten noticeably smaller. We paid considerably more for food that, in our opinion, was nowhere near as good as it was three years ago. After reading some of the other reviews, I honestly don’t understand how this restaurant is still rated as highly as it is. Our experience was so lacking in flavor, portion size, quality, and value that the rating simply doesn’t reflect what we experienced. It’s very disappointing to see a restaurant we were excited to return to change so much. Sadly, we will not be returning.

We really like this place. Unfortunately, this visit fell flat. We sat at the downstairs bar and the bartenders were focused on washing glasses more than serving customers. We were not the only ones who were literally ignored. The roasted garlic Parmesan oysters were outstanding once we flagged a bartender down to order them. Get it together guys !
