We checked in fast and got a king suite (room 104) It was large with a full kitchen, living room and bedroom. There were several things that made me score lower than usual. The A/C system is in the living room and there is only a small wall mounted fan near the ceiling that passes through to the bedroom. That meant that the main area was nice and cool but the bedroom was excessively warm throughout the night, even with the door open. The bathroom fixtures all look new, but the are some sloppy patches along the walls at floor level with water stains- see photos. The sofa has seen better days and in the bedroom, the only USB ports are in one lamp. On the plus side, there is a workspace and chair in the bedroom and lots of table space and seating in the rest of the suite. There is a well stocked mini-store off the lobby with lots of microwave dishes, ice cream, and basic sundry items. The items in the cold area are not marked with any prices so you have to ask at the desk. Other properties we’ve stayed at have a price list posted near the coolers. Also on the plus side is a free 24 hour coffee machine in the store area, and a free laundry room with lots of washers and dryers. There’s a nice bbq area for guests to use near the outdoor pool. We’ve stayed at other Candlewood properties before, and they have always been very well kept and modern. I guess this is one of the older ones they haven’t quite finished updating yet. We would probably stay at one of the other IHG brands on our next trip through the area.

Had to book a room with them last minute after having an issue with another hotel. Amanda was working the front desk and was incredibly helpful. Even though they had limited availability they got us in to a room that accommodated my family for the night. Couldn't be happier with the service. Hotel was quiet and clean. Surprised they didn't have any kind of breakfast offerings other than stuff to purchase like pop tarts or packs of mini donuts but that's minimal. Free coffee available all day and night was nice. Would stay here again.

I wanted to take a moment to share what a pleasant experience we had during our recent stay at Candlewood. The room was very comfortable and the linens were especially nice, which made it easy to rest after a long day. They offer free coffee 24-7 I also want to recognize John at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and truly customer-service oriented. People like him really make a difference, especially after a tough or tiring day. When we were checking out, John was still there because his replacement had not yet arrived. Despite that, he remained professional, smiling, and genuinely kind. It’s clear he takes pride in taking care of guests, and it did not go unnoticed. Thank you for maintaining such a comfortable hotel and for having team members like John who go the extra mile for guests. Please pass along our appreciation to him.

The first room we were given had the most awful smell. Seriously, like something has died there and recently. We were moved to another room very easily. The table was still dirty. The toilet kept running but other than that it was fine.
