We ordered two lamb gyro combos. They were absolutely delicious. The service the owner gave was friendly and fast. The food was so good we were already thinking of when we come back next time. Definitely recommend. We need many more great restaurants like this where we live.

If your reading this please get in your car and drive to Al Salaam Deli! The owner allowed me to order 20 minutes before closing he was so sweet and generous I appreciate it ! I got the falafel pita wrap and I took the first bite….. so flavorful I started literally dancing out my chair! The fries seasoned so well and the baklava desert was so amazing! The pita bread is so soft and easy to chew! Yall it’s the BEST ! I immediately asked my Friend how to say hi in Arabic because I will be back !

Picked up takeout that my mom ordered online... However the owners/cooks did not receive the online order. Not their fault, this is a longstanding Savannah small business and online ordering is relatively new in comparison to to their tenure. The owner (at least I'm presuming he was) was incredibly nice and accommodating. He took my phone to the kitchen when I showed him a screenshot of my mom's order so he could make everything we ordered. Waited about 30 minutes and spent $120, and it was absolutely worth it. I wish I knew the gentleman's name, because even though the convenience of online ordering was a flop, it didn't matter because he handled the mix up perfectly and made our food to order. I'm somewhat ashamed that as a 40 yo born and bred Savannah native I hasn't ever had Al Salaam. As soon as me and my daughter walked in we were fascinated by the Nat Geo "wallpaper" and other traditional middle eastern decor and knickknacks. He gave my daughter a free Jarritos bottled soda while we waited. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We were welcomed nicely by the owner. Ordered our food and it was made quickly. Excellent spicy chicken curry, babaghanoush and hummus. 10/10 most flavorful food I’ve had on our 3 day trip to Georgia.
