First, the guy up front was really nice, but this place is pretty rough. It's bug free, which is about the best thing I can say. We had busted wall outlets, the phone didn't work, the smoke detector was removed, the fridge has no shelves, I had to request a chair for the desk (which was provided, to their credit), we had 2 broken lights, and the drawers were all really gross, so we didn't use them. When I initially brought some of the concerns to the intention of the front desk, they were working on trying to relocate us to a downstairs room because of our special needs child, so it was decided that we would simply not worry about the lights because we would be moving rooms. We were told we could be transferred to a different room the next day, which ultimately did not happen because another guest decided to stay over. Fair enough, but when I addressed the light situation again I was told one of them could not be fixed because it required a specialty bulb, and that we would be given a bulb for the other light. That never happened. All of that is aggravating enough, but we drove 10 hours to visit family out of state, and my father-in-law had reserved a room there under the understanding there would be a pool we could use because our special needs child loves to swim. There is no pool, contrary to what the website says. I don't like to be overly harsh, especially because everyone we interacted with there was very nice and friendly, but if you're looking for anything at all other then an approximately clean-ish place to stay cheaply, and with functional air conditioning, look elsewhere. I would only stay at this particular location again if finances left me no other options. They are also pet-friendly, and the wifi is ok, so I guess they get a little credit there, too.
