We like to give thanks to the front desk that took care of any problems with our rooms, to the kitchen staff that had breakfast every morning for 32 kids for our annual college road trip. We would also like to give thanks to the sales manager Courtney, and a special thanks to Kelly that made sure everything went smooth with the 17 rooms we had reserved. I’m gonna start with the positives: the hotel was clean, either newly built or renovated (I could smell the new carpet smell in the staircase), the colors were beautiful and the decor had neat trims. Fully equipped functional kitchen and the windows have beautiful views specially from the higher floors with two lakes behind the hotel. Areas of improvement: the blackout blinds weren’t exactly blackout since they didn’t cover the entire area where the light was coming from, the sides between the windows and the blinds still let the light in and so it didn’t function great. The housekeeping started knocking our door four hours before our checkout time (that we were specifically given by the front desk at the time of check in, according to the membership status), that woke the kids up. And even after we let the housekeeping know, there was repeated knock ten minutes following the first. Overall, it was a good place, would stay again when in Savannah, but hoping that these issues are addressed.
