Emptynesters TravelsDrove by when going to Wormsloe and had to come back for their fried chicken. It was fabulous and you get so much food, we split an order of fried chicken because you get 4 pieces. Servings are generous and delicious. Definitely good southern cooking. Great hospitality too. Destiny was our server and she was very sweet and we had a great time laughing with her and had some fun small talk while here. Great place and a must visit if near by in Savannah! We had the fried chicken meal with potato salad, and French fries. We ordered an extra side since we shared a meal. I had the cheddar bake; it’s a doubled stuffed potato.

Brandy WilsonThe service here was good—friendly, attentive, which I really appreciated. I actually chose this restaurant because of the great reviews, so I came in with high expectations. I ordered the smash burger, grilled salmon, and fried grouper—everything was really good. Unfortunately, the Brunswick stew was a letdown. It tasted more like refried beans cooked in beef broth and didn’t have any of the traditional flavor or character you’d expect from a good stew. Here is a pic of the actual stew for reference. I’d definitely come back for the service and the other dishes, but I’d skip the stew next time—it was awful.

Annie SmithI loved it. I ordered a well, well, done steak the cook gave me as ordered. No red in my meat. The only thing was the Mac and cheese could have been prepared better. Other than that I have no complaints would definitely go again.

TonyaWe order wings from Carey Hillards last week, we weren't satisfied with that order, the wings were fried extremely hard! so on today August 8th I spoke with the manager on duty James, and told him about our experience, when we received our order today our wings were perfect and fresh! Thank you James, and your staff for your excellent customer service! I also called the restaurant to also thank him!
