Richard BasiniUpdate!!! It's restaurant talk time. I am in Savannah on my way north. Belford's in Savannah has been a tradition for me, and my Ex, since 2002. I've been here many many times. It was great, then, not so great. Now, it is phenomenal. I started with a generous pour of Angel's Envy. Then the crab cake came with a Bex Riesling. I've had crab cakes prepared in many different ways. Deep fried, broiled, sauteed, and now baked. There is only one place in Mount Pleasant South Carolina that can compete with the baked one I just was served. All crab. I have no idea how it was held together. AWESOME!!!. Then I ordered the braised spare rib. Normally, I hate it when then pile stuff on top of each other, but this, was perfect. The portion melted into the mashed potatoes underneath and the sauce. It was a good an item as I ever had. AMAZING! No room for dessert.

There is just one small detail: I feel the time it takes for orders to be served at the table is a bit long—that is why I am giving them 4 stars—but otherwise, the experience is very satisfactory. Susan ReitsThe pan seared Halibut was delicious! Cocktails are so pretty you hate to stir them. Nice quiet place for dinner. Staff were friendly and attentive prices are reasonable (for Savannah)

Brianne LedbetterI stopped in here after arriving in Savannah for the very first time. I just wanted a light bite to eat while enjoying the beautiful weather outside on the patio and people watching. I ordered the honeybee drink which was refreshing and sweetened with local honey. The tiger shrimp was an okay choice but nothing special slightly overcooked. The brussels sprouts which are cooked with andouille sausage, however, were some of the best I ever had. They were the perfect blend of sweet, salty, spicy, and a perfect char.

MasterBlasterExcellent steaks! There's a small bar in the back where you can sit and eat and watch people all night long through the big windows. Service was excellent and had a decent by the glass wine list. My only gripe is there is no caesar salad on the menu. Other than that this place is located right in the middle of everything is going on downtown. Enjoy!
