We were so excited to do this escape room but unfortunately it didn’t live up to our expectations. We went with a group of 4 people, and were told that our game master wasn’t there yet, so we were delayed starting almost 20 minutes. Then when we started the speakeasy room the gumball machine was stuck and we couldn’t get the clue. We tried the walkie talkie but no one answered. I left the room to ask the front desk worker and she wasn’t there either. We even tried waving at the cameras but no one came by. My friend ended up finding another worker in the hallway (not our game master or the front desk worker) who was able to help, but it set us back at least 5 minutes. We later made it to the final code and needed a hint but no one answered then either. We still couldn’t find the front desk worker and our game master never responded so the same worker who helped earlier had to come back and give us a clue! We solved it quickly and then ANOTHER worker came in and was like congrats you’re finished now and just stood in the room until we left. It was very bizarre. The room wasn’t as difficult as we expected and we ended up finishing with 10+ minutes on the clock which should have been even more time without the delays. Overall very strange… I’m not sure if they were just understaffed but we were concerned when we received absolutely no response without having to seek a worker out in the hallway… The room was very fun but I’m not sure I can recommend this place whole heartedly. I hope others have a better experience!
