Santiago Manzi (My Great Day)5/5 stay and experience! We had a very long, stressful, and delayed travel day. I am driving down from Virginia with my sister and her newborn as she is moving back home to Florida after being in the navy. We originally had plans of arriving around 5pm but ended up getting there around 1am on 10/09 and just wanted to shower and lay down and stretch after a long drive. The person that checked us in was great. He saw us settling in with the baby and making trips to the car and offered us some water. A simple but extremely thoughtful gesture. It really made us feel welcome and comfortable after arriving. And even when getting ready to leave, the gentleman at the desk was very friendly when getting our snacks for the road. He remembered us from breakfast earlier and had talked to us and just made us feel at home. Shoutout to both of them! The breakfast was also above expectations. The team there was also friendly and attentive. The food was also above what you come to expect from free hotel breakfast. It was our first hot meal in a couple days and it also felt home made. We got there at 930, close to closing and were worried there would only be leftovers but it was still fully stocked and fresh. Every item was great, we tried the grits, eggs, sausage, yogurt, pancake, bagels, etc and you couldn’t ask for more. I overheard the table next to us mention they were expecting fresh pastries as well but I think at the price point, the selection and quality was excellent. I prefer a few great high quality options over an abundance of premade and prepackaged ones that you can tell no care went into it. Now let’s talk about the room. While it was a short stay, you can tell the room was thoughtfully designed, and I think by a brilliant woman. You can tell in the details. The bathroom had an oversized counter with an extra shelf for toiletries, the bar in the shower for your foot to make it easier to shave/exfoliate, full size mirror, outlets near the seating by the room so it’s easy to plug in your devices while getting ready, the open closet design to maximize storage while making the room feel bigger. I could go on! Seeing the baby stretch out on the bed for the first time all day and then sleeping all night until 9am is a testament in its own. It was my first time trying a Hilton hotel and I will definitely be considering them in the future. This was a true show of hospitality and it was exactly what we needed. We arrived exhausted and ready to shut down and left feeling refreshed, full and ready to finish the drive and that couldn’t have happened without Tru and their entire team. Thank you! You don’t know the impact your hospitality had on our short stay.

Kevin GonzalezFirst room we checked into ac was not working second room was great but the next day we needed a later check out which is never an issue being a diamond Hilton member we went to ask the rude Front desk African American lady that was on duty and I’ve never witnessed a front desk lobby person go ask the CLEANING LADY IF IT WAS OK GOR US TO CHECK OUT LATER cleaning lady says I’m leaving at 12:15 pm so front desk lady denied our late check out but my wife luckily found the great an awesome manager on duty and told her wat happened and she said it was ok for us to check out later thank you manager on duty , but I’ve never experienced a front desk person having to ask a cleaning person if it was ok for anyone to check out later very weird to have witnessed this I’ll never stay here again for having rude employee at the front desk

James ClimesThe staff gave me eye contact but didn't speak, but she was on the computer looking at clothes. Not a big deal. But when it came to the room, if you want to charge the prices you charge for old beds that are brutal on the back, a bathroom that has mold along the shower lining and caulking, or soap that wasnt filled in the dispenser, it just goes to show that whoever is supposed to check behind the housekeepers are not doing their job. With a name like Hilton, you'd think the pride of clean rooms would follow the guide path associated with the name, but I guess not.

Funding Commercial loans 4 URooms are clean, but as you can see the workmanship of whoever built the place. More of a contractor issue that a hotel issue
