Outstanding Customer Service from Alexis! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wanted to take a moment to recognize Alexis for her absolutely exceptional customer service! I ordered dinner from Basil’s last night, and unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered that my pork chop was extremely undercooked. I’m not someone who typically calls a restaurant to complain, and I honestly felt terrible even bringing it up. However, I just couldn’t overlook how undercooked the food was. When I called this evening, Alexis, who had also helped me the night before, answered the phone. From the very beginning, she was incredibly sweet, understanding, and genuinely eager to make things right. She immediately put me at ease and made what could have been an awkward, uncomfortable conversation feel effortless. Not only did she offer a resolution, but she also took the time to walk me through several menu options, sharing her knowledge and helping me decide what to order instead. She was patient, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a better experience. As someone who appreciates great customer service, I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! Mistakes happen in any restaurant, but the way those situations are handled makes all the difference. Alexis turned a disappointing experience into one that left me feeling valued as a customer. Basil’s is incredibly fortunate to have someone like Alexis representing their restaurant. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond deserve recognition. Thank you, Alexis, for being such a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating situation! ❤️

Basil’s did not have basil! Why couldn’t our server tell us before we ordered pizza? That was seriously our main reason for patronizing this place. She also didn’t check on us at all after bringing the pizza. Refills would’ve been nice as well as an explanation on no basil. Seems the manager or owner could’ve made a quick trip to the store?

As we were waiting on being seated by the host, we observed an encounter with a disgruntled customer who had walked up to the cash register from the bar area. The customer was upset saying she had been waiting on a pizza for over an hour and apparently was told that she had cancelled it. She was very insistent that she wanted the pizza and did not want it cancelled. CARRIE, walked up on the encounter and began assisting her. She was very kind and polite to the woman and made sure her order was being fulfilled. My husband even commented on how well she handled the situation and diffused the situation.
