Took a mountain bike ride in the Preserved. There's plenty of shade to ride in the trails. Mostly Novice and there are signs to certain paths. There's an entrance map of the terrain. Parking can he done at the YMCA or there a dirt road parallel to the Preserve. Just continue past the YMCA
Jun 21, 2025 · Google ReviewGood walking spot with the option of paved, gravel and dirt walking tracks. Can park at the YMCA or on the corner of Bryan and Johnny road. Open until dusk 7 days a week. Website says closed Saturday / Sunday but it’s obviously outside walking trails so open 24/7. Can be buggy near the water and lots of smaller trails for BMX bikes. Lots of people and dogs walking. Feels safe.
Oct 25, 2025 · Google Review3.3 mile loop. I enjoy walking here and there’s plenty of bike trails as well.
Apr 22, 2026 · Google ReviewPros: The variety of trails you can take to complete the loop, beautiful plants/trees on the preserve, how well maintained it all was. Trail maps available. Cons: lack of parking signage, bugs (we were outside so obviously prepared, but the bites were still excessive), and noise pollution. (it’s right by a very busy street and can only get away from the sound of cars in 2 specific spots on the trail. 4/5 overall still a nice hidden(ish) walk/hike in Savannah about 20 minutes from North and Mid Beach.🌴🌊🌱worth the bug bites IMO🦟
Aug 2, 2023 · Google ReviewNice place for a walk or ride. Cool bike trails with obstacles. I enjoy birding here as well. See and hear less common birds here which is cool. There is a paved path as well as a wide, easy gravel path. Plenty of dirt trails! One star removed due to frequent off leash dogs and inconsiderate cyclists.
