My mom, my kids, and I stayed here for four night last week (7/18-7/22) and we would 100% stay again. The hotel is in a central location, with a small walk and easy access to the beach. The staff was great, welcoming, and very informative about how to navigate the island and not get ran over. Our room was a deluxe suite, it was perfect for the four of us. It was clean and well maintained! The only thing negative is the air conditioning units need to be updated, I did have to buy myself a box fan. The pool was great and kids enjoyed that more than the beach I think. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to visit again!

Cynthia at the front desk was AMAZING! So sweet & welcoming! She was truly my favorite part of our stay. The room was nice, but we felt cramped. The bathroom is TINY. When I sit on the toilet, my feet were in the shower. The shower was nice, but TOO BIG for the size of the bathroom. The sink is so tiny & the water would splash everywhere. We really wanted to change hotels, but since we had already checked in, I could not be refunded. However, it was very nice to have FREE parking at the hotel. We also loved that the room had a fridge, microwave, & Keurig coffee maker. If I ever go back to Tybee Island, I would stay closer to the pier & shopping. I did like that the fact that this hotel had a pool, but I didn't want to swim in because of all the water bugs swimming in there.

This place is a real hidden gem - I almost don't want to share! Perfectly located to trek over to the quiet side of the beach, or walk down to the pier and restaurants. Rooms are basic, clean and comfortable with cute kitschy decor. Pool is great. The woman working the front desk (not sure if she is the owner) is very welcoming and accommodating. The only issues we experienced were that the a/c unit can be a little loud and the parking is a little tight.

It was clean. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Mid Beach. A bit far to walk to the pier in the heat. Staff was accommodating and worked to let us check in early to attend a conference call for work. Parking lot and spaces are a bit tight, so keep that in mind. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a 2 day stay at Royal Palms Motel. The clerk in the office was very helpful with local restaurants and beach access tips. Our room was clean and cool when we entered. All of the needed items were there including an iron, hair dryer, microwave, and mini fridge. The room was very pretty with a beautiful wall mural behind the bed. The room was small but met our needs just fine. The bathroom was especially small with the toilet being so close to the shower, it was easier to sit sideways to use it. That is our only issue and would definitely stay again!
