Good little hotel right off I-95. I gave 5 stars overall but only 4 for the room because even though the room had a small issue the staff made up for it. The front desk girl was very friendly at check in and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. The room was pretty good overall. It was nice and clean, the bed was made perfectly, the bathroom was spotless, the TV worked good. When we checked in the room smelled a little stale like it needed to be aired out. I went down to the front desk and told the clerk. She offered to move us to another room but it was late at night, we had already gotten unpacked, we were hungry, we just wanted to get something to eat after being on the road all day and we were tired so I told her the smell wasn't that bad and we would stay there if they had something I could use to take the take smell away. She gave me a bottle of citrus smelling stuff that wasn't over powering that I sprayed in the room and around the edges of the baseboards and under the AC. It made the room smell a lot better. We slept great. The bed was very comfortable and made up perfectly. We had breakfast the next morning before heading home. It was your typical free breakfast but the waffles and sausage were very good. When I went to check out I told the girls at the desk what happened and it just happened to be the general manager. She was super nice and apologetic, very concerned about our stay and offered to comp our room for the night. It's not often this happens anymore. It was refreshing that they cared enough to take care of us not once by offering a new room after checking in but also offering another solution to take care of the issue and then by giving us our room for free for the night which I didn't even ask for. We will keep this place on our list for the future. If we are going back up I-95 again anytime soon we will stay there again. Great Southern Hospitality!!
