Nice hotel well positioned for fun in the Savannah historic district. Elevator access to the Riverfront and to Bay Street. GPS had difficulty describing the right way to reach the front door. There is no information about saving money by self parking in the Whitaker public garage. And their online checkin system informs you that your room is ready when it apparently is not and you have to wait hours before returning to check in later. We were informed that "the system just does that" even though it is incorrect in notifying you that the room is ready. Absolutely beautiful river view from our room. Really enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful hotel right on the river walk. Room was very nice but sound did carry from other rooms and outside. No lobby coffee was an issue for hubby. The daily credit did not work at the bar so beware. Omelette at the nest restaurant was inedible.

Truly a sweet hotel and I would stay there again. The rooms (I had a king river view with juliette balcony) were charming and quite large. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants and bars were good. And the location was perfect. The reason i didn't give it 5 stars was for a few cleanliness issues that I brought to their attention during my visit. First, the wood floor, which I assume is original to the new building, was really really dirty and tacky to the touch. Needs good deep clean and regular cleaning. I wore flip flops at all times in the room. Second, the shower had a minor mildew smell. Third, the light on the make-up mirror didn't work. Fourth, there was "dirt" on the outside bottom of the toilet bowl. Fifth, the towels were hard and scratchy. Nonetheless, a great find despite how this sounds!
