Had such a wonderful stay at this hotel, our room with a river view was clean and comfortable. Service and staff 100%. Hotel is cool with many places to eat indoor and out. For an engineering person lots to see inside the lobby on how they created this hotel from a power plant and info on the archaeological aspect as well. Can’t wait to return.

From the moment I pulled up on Thursday, I knew this was going to be an exceptional stay. I was greeted by Brent in valet, and I have to say, it is not often that I specifically mention valet service in a hotel review, but Brent absolutely deserves the recognition. Throughout my entire six-day stay, he took care of every request I had with a smile, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Along with Miss Dee and the entire valet team, they provided truly top notch service and made me feel welcomed every single day. Every time I walked through the lobby, I was warmly greeted by the outstanding concierge staff, Miss Tonia, Kyle, MiKayla, and Riyun. I especially want to recognize Kyle, who went above and beyond every single day we were there. No matter what we needed, he was always there with a warm smile, outstanding recommendations, and a genuine desire to make our stay perfect. His exceptional customer service made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. The entire concierge team was friendly, attentive, and truly first-class. Mr. Kessler has gone above and beyond in creating an absolutely stunning three building hotel. His incredible collection of artwork, which he shares with the public, is truly remarkable and worth seeing even if you aren't staying at the hotel. Every corner of the property is beautiful. I was especially impressed by The Baobab, the hotel's African-inspired bar. It is, without question, one of the most stunning bars I have ever visited. The atmosphere, design, and attention to detail are simply breathtaking. I stayed in the first of the three buildings, and my room was impeccable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making my extended stay even more enjoyable. The housekeeping staff was attentive and stayed on top of every need I had. The hotel sits right on the river with beautiful views and a wonderful setting that perfectly complements the luxury experience. I honestly have zero complaints about my stay. I highly recommend the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District to anyone visiting Savannah. I will absolutely be back. Thank you to the entire staff for making my stay so memorable, especially during a very busy Fourth of July weekend. Kudos to each and every one of you for providing outstanding hospitality. You have set the standard for what a luxury hotel experience should be.

I was impressed with the lobby entrance and all the decorations and history, the location and the view of the room. But the service was disappointing. During my stay, I called house keeping for some room supplies in the morning, no one answered. Then I went to front desk before the breakfast, told them what I need, still nothing happened when I return to the room after my breakfast. So I called the front desk, no one answers either. For a 5 stars hotel, didn’t expect this type of inattentive service.

Nice lobby decor and river views but the service is at a 3 star level. They cheap out with an $8 credit for platinum members towards their $33 breakfast buffett. They do not enforce their own rules against a loud and smokey party next door. I suggest a hotel a fee blocks away for 1/3 of the cost and just walk over to see the lobby decor and river views.

Staying at this JW is like staying in a museum. The dinosaur theme is unique and a lot of fun for all family members. This complex has some of the best restaurants in Savannah on its property. If you stay here, don’t feel obligated to leave the premises for every meal. Try the Mexican and Pizza restaurants as they are particularly good.
