ChrisknipsIn a city full of cool monuments this one is a must see if you’re a fan of history. Beautiful spot right down along the river. Give yourself plenty of time to wander around down here as there is so much to see. Great shops, restaurants, and bars all around the area. Everything is walkable and most of it is dog friendly

AnandA memorial for the lives lost during World War II. Its literally a globe split in two. A common spot for performers to gather and put on a show. A unifying monument in a city / state with a conflicting past. Can't miss it while walking down the Savannah Riverwalk. Very calm and tranquil area - right opposite to where the Georgia Queen is docked.
